Pregnancy & Postpartum Support Group

Come to the library to play Mah Jongg! 

The Scarsdale Public Library is offering “Chair Yoga with Ellen,” a seated yoga class, Tuesdays at 11 AM. The class includes building strength and stamina, stretching and guided meditation and breathing.

Qi Gong for health and energy. Join us to practice this gentle body movement for healing the body, mind and emotions. Qi Gong has been shown to reduce pain, improve concentration, and help people cope with stress.

SHS students, Marin S. and Emily H., lead this Sunday crochet club for kids in Grades 3 through 8* (*last year's regulars are welcome too). Crochet Club starts 30 minutes after the Library opens on most Sundays during the school year.

Join us in Meeting Room South for a ukulele jam session with others who love to sing and play music. Please bring your tuned-up uke, extra copies of any music you wish to share, and a fervent desire to have fun with other ukulele players.

Join us in Meeting Room North South for an art workshop given by local artist and teacher Judika Lieberman. This class will focus on techniques for drawing with pen and ink.

Brighten someone's day with a pair of handmade earrings! Joan LLoyd of Bling's the Thing, gives you the opportunity to help women in need while enjoying the craft of earring making.

Getting ready for the Holidays?  Come personalize a dish cloth, with winter themes while learning how to use our Embroidery Sewing Machine.  Choose from the following patterns: snowflake, wreath, cardinal, or evergreen tree.
