Come to the library to play Canasta! 

The Scarsdale Public Library is offering “Chair Yoga with Ellen,” a seated yoga class, Tuesdays at 11 AM. The class includes building strength and stamina, stretching and guided meditation and breathing.

Qi Gong for health and energy. Join us to practice this gentle body movement for healing the body, mind and emotions. Qi Gong has been shown to reduce pain, improve concentration, and help people cope with stress.

Join us in Meeting Room North South for an expressive watercolor art program with Family Services of Westchester.

SHS students, Marin S. and Emily H., lead this Sunday crochet club for kids in Grades 3 through 8* (*last year's regulars are welcome too). Crochet Club starts 30 minutes after the Library opens on most Sundays during the school year.

How to Make Sense of Today's Financial Markets

Join us for a morning of art and fun as we celebrate the rich artistic traditions from around the world!

Students in  6th, 7th and 8th grade, join members of the  Scarsdale High School Creative Writing Club, who will help you learn about character building, plot development, story arcs, dialogue and more! This workshop is a 5- part ser

Join us at the library for an informal weekly knitting and crocheting meetup group.  

Bring your own project and spend time with other local crafters. Knit, crochet, chat, share knowledge, and make friends.

Library Chess Club is an intergenerational event where diverse chess enthusiasts play against each other at the library.

Join us and our fellow librarian and musician Cameron Dahl in the Scott Room for an evening of holiday music and festive cheer. Enjoy a medley of original piano arrangements of holiday music that capture the spirit of the holiday season.

The Scarsdale Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7:30 in the library in the Scott Room

This monthly meeting is intended for Scarsdale residents who are middle school, junior high, high school, or homeschool students wanting to get involved with the community hub which is the Scarsdale Public Library.
