The first half of today's Library Chess Club will include some instruction from SHS Chess Club member Anish Mehta. The remaining time will go as usual.

Library Chess Club is an opportunity for participants of all ages to engage in open chess play at the Library at 3:30 PM, most Saturdays.

  • Chess sets provided.
  • Basic chess knowledge is needed to participate.
  • Player pre-registration is recommended but not required.
  • Walk-ins accommodated as space allows.
  • If you decide not to participate after registering, please cancel your registration so that your spot may go to someone on the waiting list.

This intergenerational program series is brought to you by Scarsdale Public Library's Teen Services Department & Teen Advisory Board.

Unattended Children

Parents and Caregivers should be attentive to children under their care at all times during the program. Children are not permitted to be left unsupervised by their caregiver unless over the age of 10.
