Create – Secure – Slice!
Step 1: Create a design:
Use your preferred design tool or Cricut Design Space to create a file you’d like to cut. If you work outside of Cricut Design Space, make sure it’s a compatible file type, like SVG.

Lots of designs are available for free or at a low cost online! Try browsing different websites or check out the free designs in the Cricut Design Space.
Step 2: Secure your design & materials:
Once you have your design ready to go, save it to a USB flash drive or your Cricut Design Space account. Purchase the desired materials you wish to cut.
Step 3: Slice!
Book one of our Cricut machines and come to the SPL makerspace. Load up your design on your own device or on a makerspace device. Connect it to the Cricut machine, set up the Design Space, and load up your materials into the machine, using a mat if needed, and start cutting!
