Please join authors Brooke Lea Foster and Susie Orman Schnall in a candid conversation with moderator Avery Carpenter Forrey as they discuss their newly-launched novels "All the Summers in Between" and "Anna Bright is Hiding Something." They will discuss writing strong female characters, how to keep readers turning pages and offer a behind the scenes look at their books.
Brooke Lea Foster is an award-winning author and journalist whose articles have appeared in The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Washington Post Magazine, Good Housekeeping, People, and Parade Magazine. An alumna of The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, she is the author of three nonfiction books and the novels Summer Darlings, On Gin Lane, and her latest, All the Summers In Between.
“If you’re looking to dive into historical fiction this summer, look no further than Brooke Lea Foster's latest book, All the Summers in Between,” (Town & Country Magazine.) Foster's page-turning novel deals with two estranged friends whose unexpected reconnection in the Hamptons forces them to finally confront the terrible event that drove them apart ten years earlier. Set in the dual timelines of 1967 and 1977, All the Summers In Between is at once a mesmerizing portrait of a complex friendship, a delicious glimpse into a bygone Hamptons, and a powerful coming-of-age experience for two young women during a transformative era.
Brooke also writes about travel, reading and writing in her popular Dear Fiction newsletter.
