This 90-minute, workshop is designed to give dog owners insight into their dog’s behavior. The presentation will provide effective strategies to train and strengthen the behaviors we want, as well as how to stop unwanted behaviors. 

There is no magic behind successful dog training but there is science. When we have a clear understanding of the scientific principals that influence behavior and training, we are in the best position possible to problem-solve, eliminate unwanted behaviors, build desired behaviors, improve performance and have the relationship with our dogs that we dream of.

Certified Professional Dog Trainer Denise Mazzola is the owner of Denise Mazzola’s Everything Dog. She has been working with people and training dogs for over 30 years. Everything Dog provides services to clients throughout the Monadnock Region of NH as well as Nationally by offering private lessons, group classes, board and train, as well as day training services. Denise has been published in the trade journal, Chronicle of the Dog, and writes a monthly column for her newsletter. She has hosted a monthly, live “Ask the Trainer” radio show on WKBK for the past 15 years. Denise produced the TV Show Doggie Dilemmas via Cable access for four seasons. 

Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Amy Willey is a co-owner of the dog training and behavior business, Everything Dog. She has been working with people and training dogs using science methods for over 10 years. Working with reactive dogs and their owners is a passion of Amy’s. She has very successfully transformed her own reactive dog, Big Mama Jubilee into a companion that is a joy to take on walks and to classes as well as a therapy dog. Amy and Jubilee have enjoyed competing in the sport of Nose Work together. They have earned their NW1 Title through the National Association of Canine Scent Work.
