Join us bimonthly to discuss books about impactful social issues! This month, we’ll be reading Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates.
In the form of a letter, Coates shares with his adolescent son—and readers—the story of his awakening to the truth about his place in the world as a black man, through a series of revelatory experiences: from Howard University to Civil War battlefields, from the South Side of Chicago to Paris to his childhood home. Beautifully woven, Between the World and Me offers a powerful new framework for understanding our nation’s racial history and a vision for a way forward.
Request the physical, hardcover book here. Or download it electronically as an eBook or eAudiobook with the following links on OverDrive/Libby or cloudLibrary.
