The long awaited Scarsdale Salon and Salon de Belleville are back on zoom! Sit back and relax on the best corner of your sofa , get a snack and enjoy Art and Literature 

"Out of the Box" from different parts of the world - four writers, a singer/composer, and a mini -play are on the program. Who says we can't travel the world during a pandemic?

 

Prince A McNally  -  A Brooklyn-born poet, writer, philosopher, activist, and spoken word artist. His work focuses primarily on the human condition and social injustice. A rising voice on the NYC poetry scene, he is currently working on his first collection of poetry.

 

Tristan J Boisvert (or Tan Green, depending) is a non-binary, LGBTQ2i+ Canadian-British poet and film photographer. In 2017, they quit their job as a chef to pursue poetry full time after receiving the Walrus poetry prize. They currently live  in Paris, France.

 

Claire Sophie Dagnan - French singer, composed and songwriter. Her music navigates through soul, jazz, rap and Bossa Nova. She's a member of three different bands in France.

 

Nina Maniçoba Ferraz -  Teacher at the English Language Institute of WCC Valhalla, and the author of  “Bulls Without Feathers,” a collection of short stories written in Portuguese. Her debut fictional work in English is forthcoming in The Westchester Review. 

 

Plinio Ribeiro Jr - Curator of the Salon de Belleville, Plinio is a researcher and artist based in Paris, France. Writing and visual arts are part of his interdisciplinary projects. He holds a master degree in Literature, Arts & Aesthetic at Paris Diderot University

Tamar Ettun-Brooklyn- based ,Jerusalem- born. Ettun uses sculpture, video, and performance art to invert the semioties of our existing cultural, social, religion and personal rituals.Together with Nina Manicoba Ferraz they will show a video from her Lilit project, a response to the isolation of the pandemic, dealing with healing and connectivity through a feminist lens.

You will receive a Zoom invitation approximately 1 hour before the event.

 

The Salon will be anchored by Ines Rodrigues (in New York) and Plinio Ribeiro Jr. (in Paris).
