Whether you're tripping over too much stuff in your home or struggling with deciding what's important to keep, we can help! Stop by the Scott Room to hear from Emily Baldwin, a local consultant specializing in organization, home decluttering, and assisting seniors move and rightsize their dwelling. We'll take a look at the various types of clutter that exist, develop an emotional and functional framework of belongings to help you identify what's really important to you, and impart some practical tips for how to best donate or dispose of items you no longer need.

Looking to donate or dispose of old books? Scarsdale Public Library is not currently accepting book donations, but we do have a list of local libraries and organizations that may take book donations. Please write the Reference Desk for the list reference@scarsdalelibrary.org and we always recommend calling the organization in question to doublecheck their criteria before making the trip.
