Join us in the Scott Room for an origami workshop in honor of the upcoming Lunar New Year! Local artist Julie Tang will teach a class demonstrating the creation of origami crane bookmarks, and participants will be able to take home their projects afterward. The crane is considered an auspicious bird in many Asian countries. A symbol of longevity, fidelity, and wisdom, cranes make for a beautiful and meaningful motif in the decorative arts. Come practice your origami and elevate your next read with this workshop!
