Join Us for an Evening of Words and Wine!

Calling all writers and lovers of the written word! Come be part of the first ever Scarsdale Writers Center Open Mic Night – a cozy, cabaret-style evening where words take center stage. Whether you're a poet, novelist, essayist, or simply have a story to tell, we’d love to hear you read a 3-5 minute excerpt of your work. This is the perfect opportunity to test out new material, engage with fellow writers, and experience the magic of live storytelling. Or simply be part of the audience, and enjoy a glass of wine and light refreshments as you settle into a space filled with creativity and connection.

Barbara Josselsohn is the best-selling author of eight novels, including the recently published The Forgotten Italian Restaurant, a sweeping, multi-generational story of the Resistance in northern Italy during World War 2. She teaches fiction writing at The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence and Westport Writers Workshop, and also leads the Writers Center at Scarsdale

Register, attend – and if you’d like to share your writing, let us know at writerscenter@scarsdalelibrary.org!
