Event Details

Join us for a presentation by Jean Lapsker, Garden Curator/Educator at the Native Plant Center at Westchester Community College.  

Learn what a native plant is and why these plants are important to the environment. Discover the many benefits of natives and how to introduce them most effectively into your backyard.  We will learn about the importance of native plants, the dangers of invasive species, and incorporating native species into your garden design.
