Step into a time when papyrus grew along the Nile River and pyramids dotted the horizon in Ancient Egypt. Discover who King Tut-Ankh-Amun really was, and learn the A, B, C's of Hieroglyphics. This engaging, illustrated and colorful presentation will bring us back in time to the land of the Pharaohs with your very own local museum educator! A mobile museum of authentic artifacts will be on display, and papyrus available for guests to take home.

Marisa Horowitz- Jaffe has been teaching, studying and living ancient history for over 25 years. Her background includes double Bachelor’s degrees in Egyptology & Roman Archaeology, with an Art History minor, from The University of Michigan, followed by a Master’s degree from Harvard University in Art and Museum Education. She spent two decades working in elite NYC art museum education departments, and now enjoys bringing her own artifacts and mobile museum to teach enrichment programs in schools, libraries and community groups.

Registration is online only and begins Sunday, June 22 at 8am.
Registration is required. Each child must be registered separately.
Registrations will not be accepted via email.
