Join us for a discussion of William Wyler’s "The Heiress," starring Olivia de Havilland and Montgomery Clift. Please watch the movie before the discussion. You can borrow it from the Library here. 

Catherine Sloper, young and in desperate need of affection, turns her attention toward Morris a handsome but mysterious bachelor in the hopes that he will meet all her needs. However, Catherine’s father Dr. Austin Sloper, threatens to disinherit Catherine if she pursues a relationship with Morris. Will the man of Catherine’s dreams prove to be worthy? Will Catherine find the affection she so longed for, or will she forever tarnish her relationship with her father and disinherit herself from his will?
