Event Details
For ages 8 to over 18.
Library Chess Club is an intergenerational event where diverse chess enthusiasts play against each other at the library.
- For children, teens, adults, and seniors; however, players under age 10 must be supervised by their guardian at all times.
- Basic chess knowledge is needed to participate.
- Chess sets are provided.
- Open-play: Play against whomever you wish among the participants.
- Casual format (No clocks)
- Player pre-registration is recommended but not required. Walk-ins accommodated as space allows.
Food Allergies
We cannot guarantee that food served at this program has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy, or other allergens.
Photography
Please note that photographs and/or footage may be taken throughout the event. These will be used by the library for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media. Please consult with a librarian if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempt from this activity.
Unattended Children
Parents and Caregivers should be attentive to children under their care at all times during the program. Children are not permitted to be left unsupervised by their caregiver unless over the age of 10.
