Join us either in the Scott Room or online to celebrate American artists with the National Gallery of Art. American art can tell complex stories about evolving national identities in the United States. Join an educator from the National Gallery as we look closely at American art from the colonial period to the early 20th century, engaging in conversation and exploring different perspectives with these works from one of the greatest collections in North America. Take this opportunity to virtually visit the National Gallery without needing to travel down to Washington, D.C.
This program is presented in collaboration with seven other Westchester libraries - Bedford Hills, New Rochelle, Somers, Tuckahoe, Warner, Yonkers (Grinton I. Will), and Yorktown.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid program. You may attend this program either in-person at the library or online using your own device. All registrants will receive a Zoom link approximately one hour prior to the start of the program.
