Learn about the history of Indian Point, from the opening of Indian Point Park in 1923 to the closure of the nuclear power plant in 2021.

Brian Vangor began working at Indian Point in 1980 fresh out of Manhattan College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Senior Reactor Operator's license in 1983 and spent over thirty years in the Indian Point 3 Control Room. Today, he is involved with the process of placing spent fuel into dry storage.
