Katie Darcy is a passionate, enthusiastic teacher and curriculum designer with twenty-one years of educational experience. She possesses a BA from University of Notre Dame in Government and an MS from Northwestern University in Secondary Social Studies Education. Katie worked at New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL, teaching and researching differentiated instruction in the U.S. history classroom. At Scarsdale High School, Katie taught all levels of U.S. history and ninth grade world history. She has spent the last decade as a learning consultant supporting high school and college students in research, writing, and test preparation for social studies and English.  

Ann Marie Nee is a longtime Scarsdale resident with twenty-four years of experience in K-12 education and adult development, including teaching U.S. History and other social studies classes in the high performing districts of Newton (MA), Sharon (MA), and Scarsdale (NY). She has been awarded over a dozen research grants for post-graduate work in history, including from the NEH, Gilder Lehrman Foundation, and Freeman Foundation. She is director of the Scarsdale Teachers Institute and a consultant for Research for Better Teaching. Ann Marie holds degrees from Dartmouth, Harvard, and Fordham and has served as grader of the College Board AP Exam in U.S. History. She has been named a high school volleyball coach of the year six times, and has integrated that spirit of goal setting, teamwork, and positivity into her classrooms.
