Program Description

Event Details

Join us and our fellow librarian and musician Cameron Dahl on the library lawn for an afternoon of jazz and autumn fun! Enjoy a medley of original piano arrangements of spooky movie themes, jazz standards, and popular songs from the 20th century that capture the spirit of the autumn season and Halloween. Refreshments will be served, along with beer and nonalcoholic beverages.

About the performer

Cameron Felix Dahl is a Connecticut-based composer, arranger and pianist originally from Buffalo, NY. He received his Bachelor of Music in Composition from Brooklyn College in 2019. Cameron has written works for solo piano, piano with electronics, and classical and jazz ensembles. His music is influenced by impressionism, minimalism and modern jazz, and he enjoys creating jazz-infused arrangements of songs from many genres.
