Handling the final affairs of a funeral can be a daunting, complicated process, especially in the midst of sudden bereavement. Whether assisting a friend or loved one or reflecting on your own wishes, advanced funeral planning is something that can relieve a huge burden during a moment of grief. Join Tatyana Fowler, the Advance Funeral Planning and Director of Aftercare at Ballard-Durand Funeral and Cremation Services, to go through a lucid and wide ranging checklist of all the factors you might need to consider before a funeral service for yourself or a loved one can take place. From the important documents needed, the custody of one's earthly remains after death, the settlement of potential family disputes over service details, and protecting oneself from grief-stricken or emotional overspending, advance funeral planning can be done at any age.
