Program Description

Event Details

Join us in the Scott Room for a family friendly Chinese language film. This program proudly works to provide Chinese families with an environment where their culture is celebrated and appreciated through films. Each film will be screened in either Mandarin or Cantonese with English subtitles.

For May, the film will be the 2021 biographical sports drama Zero to Hero, telling the true story of the first individual from Hong Kong to win a gold medal at the Paralympic Games. Directed by Chi-Man Wan and starring, Chung-Hang Leung and Sandra Kwan Yue Ng, Zero to Hero follows So Wa Wai who suffered from cerebral spasms yet persevered with the support of his mother to discover a talent for running.

This monthly event is completely free, and refreshments will be provided!

This event is cosponsored by the OCA-WHV.
