Event Details

Join us in the Scott Room for a family friendly Chinese language film. This series works to provide Chinese families with an environment where their culture is celebrated and appreciated through films. Each film will be screened in either Mandarin or Cantonese with English subtitles.

October's film is The Nightingale (2013), directed by Philippe Muyl and starring Baotian Li, Xiaoran Li, Hao Qin, and Xin Yi Yang. In a heartwarming family drama, a widower is accompanied by his granddaughter and his pet bird as he leaves Beijing to return to his native village in a beautiful trek across China.
