Program Description

Event Details

Remember those beautiful buttons that we gave out for Summer Reading? Now you can make your own! Come learn how to use our button making machines and add a splash of creativity to your shirt, backpack, hat, or anywhere else you want to stick a pin!

Button making is a great way of getting some extra use out of old magazines you have laying around. Either bring your own images that you think might make a good button or use one of the templates we'll have ready for you. We'll show you how to measure and cut out images to use and then how to assemble different kinds of pinbacks for your very own button.

Materials will be provided.

Please note: this program is limited to Scarsdale library cardholders.

Photography

Please note that photographs and/or footage may be taken throughout the event. These will be used by the library for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media. Please consult with a librarian if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempt from this activity.
