Join us in the Scott Room to hear Robert Markowitz discuss his novel Clown Shoes and the inspiration that one's own life can play in the writing process. (Scarsdale parents may also recognize Mr. Markowitz as Robert the Guitar Guy who has been playing music for Scarsdale kids here for a long time!)

Robert is celebrating the debut of his adult novel Clown Shoes with a presentation on how writers create fiction from the details of their own lives. Drawing inspiration for Ernest Hemingway's incorporation of his own experiences in the novel The Sun Also Rises, Robert discusses how anyone can find deeper meaning in their own unique story.

Copies of Clown Shoes will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation.
