Program Description

Event Details

All are welcome to join illustrator and comic artist Angeli Rafer in person as she talks about her new Bailey School Kids graphic novel Ghosts Don't Eat Potato Chips.

Angeli Rafer is a Filipino American illustrator and comic artist based in the diner capital of the world (a.k.a. New Jersey). She is a self-taught digital artist, with a passion for telling stories about everyday magic -- from cooking and first crushes to cute animals and bad puns. Her work also appears in several anthologies: Hellcat Press's Screams Heard Round the World, Dark Lady Returns, and the Sequential Artist Workshop's Rhythms. Ghosts Don’t Eat Potato Chips (The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids #3) is her first graphic novel and will be available in September!

The Bailey School Kids may -- or may not -- have seen a hungry ghost in this funny and spooky series from Graphix Chapters. Eddie and Howie go to visit Eddie's great-aunt Mathilda. But when Howie sees a shadowy face in the window -- and when his potato chips start to form mysterious trails -- the Bailey School kids are spooked. Could a ghost be living in the attic?

This program is intended for children in grades 2-6.

Registration begins Sunday August 27 @ 8AM.

Unattended Children

Parents and Caregivers should be attentive to children under their care at all times during the program. Children are not permitted to be left unsupervised by their caregiver unless over the age of 10.
