Book vs. movie – which do you prefer? This debate is as old as the movie industry itself. From the earliest days of cinema, filmmakers have drawn on books for material and inspiration. And the trend is definitely on an uptick – over half of the movies released in 2015 originated as books. Of course, the two experiences are very different; movies are social and immersive while books are more nuanced and introspective, allowing you to tap into your own imagination instead of relying on the vision of the movie maker.
