Summer at Scarsdale Library

Summer is officially upon us and with that comes Summer Reading! Our Summer Reading Challenge has returned.  Make sure to sign up to receive your prizes for all the reading you do over the summer.

Scarsdale Library has many offerings this summer, including our regular programming, a concert series, special programs and more!  Make sure to take a look at our calendar for programs that require registration.  August registration will open on July 28th at 8 AM.

Didn’t get to register in time? We have a host of drop-in programs, such as Family Fossil Frenzy, Legos and Building Challenge, Crayon Club and Create a Collage.

This summer we are hosting a family concert series with music from: Musical Pepper Pot, Armelle Family Concert, Kids Rock U and Robert the Guitar Guy.  These will be held on the lawn and do not require registration!

Want to explore the surrounding areas? Don’t forget, Scarsdale Library also has museum passes that can be reserved with your library card.  Some museums your child may be interested in are The Intrepid, The Children’s Museum of Manhattan, The Greenburgh Nature Center, Stamford Museum and Nature Center and Stepping Stones Museum for Children.

Finally, if you are still looking for things to do between camp, library events, hanging out with friends, going to the pool, beach or on vacation, head to one of Scarsdale’s twenty-four parks.
