For us adults, it can be hard to believe that 20 years have passed since September 11, 2001. For kids though, the events of that day may seem like long ago history. With this big anniversary approaching, some children may have questions, and thankfully, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum has a helpful guide for discussing terrorism with children.
Here at the library, we've selected a handful of books, both fiction and non-fiction, to help older children contextualize this event.
