And the Winner Is...

The Caldecott Medal is awarded by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the illustrator of the most distinguished picture book of the previous year.  It is selected  by a committee of 15 librarians chosen from around the country and is one of the most prestigious awards given in all of children’s literature.

See this year’s winner, Kadir Nelson, reveal a new work of art, “After the Storm,” in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
