Artist statement: I am a contemporary Brazilian sculptor and multimedia artist, working primarily in glass, ceramic and photography. I use my art to explore the psychological and emotional depths of humanity. I use beauty and lightness to encourage people to face their relationships with love, life, fear of death, sadness, betrayal, greed and ambition. My goal is to establish a relationship between my work and the viewer, so that the emotions my art evokes may bring the audience into the space between reality and fantasy, even if only for a brief moment.
